(Sargasso Sea)

Have you ever imagined the sea that does not have a beach? Do you think this is possible? Yes! Sargasso Sea is the only sea that does not have a beach! This strange and unique sea lies in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean and surrounds the ocean currents. What do you think did not make this beach? To answer this question, stay up to the end to learn more about the Sargasso Sea.

To find the secret of the Sargasso Sea, you need to tell your location very precisely. In the west of the Gulf of Stream, in the north is the northern Atlantic, in the east is the Channel stream and in the south is the North Atlantic Tropical. On the other hand, there is a place on the western border of the sea called Bermuda. Despite the fact that the sea is surrounded by such terrible currents, these flows are completely immovable. You know what the North Atlantic is cool and difficult, but surprisingly, the Sargasso River is warm! The temperature of the Sargasso waters is much warmer than the waters surrounding the sea. To put it more precisely, the waters of the Sargasso Sea are completely different from those that surround this sea; it is warmer, more salty and more relaxed.

What do you think the reason for the strange features of this sea? Sea surface levels are covered with algae. These algae, which have a golden-brown color and float on the water, are called sargasome. You can probably guess that these algae are called "Sargasso". On the other hand, animals that live on algae are different from other places, and they are completely algae, so colorful that they can hardly be seen. For the first time, Christopher Columbus discovered this oval and large sea. He initially thought that he was approaching the sea, seeing the algae on the sea, but it was hard on the wrong side because it was hundreds of miles from the land! Many people think there's a relationship between the Sargasso Sea and the Bermuda Triangle. The marvelous tranquility of this sea and its proximity to Bermuda has made this sea a mysterious and special. The scary part of this sea is that it always falls into those strange events; indeed, the sea steals people who sit on sailing ships! Until now, there have been many wandering ships on the surface of this sea that nobody has ever been! That's why the Sargasso Sea is called the "Graveyard of Ships" or "The Sea of Missing Ships." One of these ships, which had a terrible fate, was a French merchant ship that traveled to the sea in 1840 and disappeared. But sometime later, the ship was found while nobody was there!

Richard Sylvester's Theory
Richard Sylvester, a researcher at a Australian university, believes that there is a relationship between the disappearance of ships in the Sargasso Sea and the loss of aircraft and ships in the Bermuda Triangle. He believes that the main reason for the strangeity of this sea is vortices. In the middle of this sea, there is a lot of algae, and powerful currents spin slowly, causing tremendous vortices to appear in this area. Sylvester says the Sargasso Whirlpools act like a centrifuge. These turbulent whirlpools create smaller whirlpools that go and go to bring themselves to the Bermuda Triangle. These vortices are so strong that they can reverse the ships and take everything inside them. Of course, this is not all that, because these small vortices can even create small gusts in the air! These water-induced gusts will continue to spin the water and may be the reason for the fall of small planes into the ocean.
